infrastructure projects

MWA’s principal involvement with infrastructure projects is with the acoustic assessments of highways, major roads and railways and the design of buildings, barriers and buffers necessary to accommodate these. Other services available include the selection of design parameters for bridges and major culverts and the assessment of the need or otherwise to provide flood mitigation or to increase flood immunity by design changes.

MWA is also involved with the environmental assessment of airports, helicopter landing sites, ferry transport terminals, cruise ship terminals and port facilities.

MWA is also experienced in the design of flood mitigation measures for developments in floodplains and in stream valleys.
